Layout & Furnishings
The rental house has 4 bedrooms. The downstairs bedroom has a twin
set of beds with a comfortable wall- to-wall rug. The upstairs has
two queen bedrooms and one small single bedroom.
The two bathrooms are also upstairs. One has a large vintage bathtub,
the other, a comfortable shower.
Downstairs are two sitting rooms and a dining room. The cozy, well-equipped
kitchen has exposed beams, a vintage cook stove, and a breakfast
area. It has nurtured many great conversations and quiet reflections.
The house is furnished with many interesting antiques.
There is an old-fashioned front porch for leisurely relaxation. Behind the house is a back patio surrounded
by a grassed in yard, gardens and many herbs
and flowering plants.

The "Captain's window" in the upstairs hall is
a distinctive feature of the house. It faces south, towards the Minas
Basin.

see the sun rise over the Minas Basin.
